Perma-Chink manufactures colored caulk. Since wood grains are always different, the color of the stain as applied always varys slightly providing the beauty of natural wood. The point of offering a colored caulk is not necessarily to be a perfect match to the stain, but since the caulk is stainable to be a good color foundation to have the caulk match after it is stained as a system.
