Founder's Statement of Purpose
This section of our website is an area that some may find enlightening and others may not, however it is important to express from a company founder’s perspective what Pine River Inc. is based on. As we mention in our Mission Statement:
The purpose of Pine River Inc. is to manufacture a natural and authentic large diameter energy efficient log siding system appropriately called the “e-log”. Product quality, personal integrity, customer satisfaction and employee fulfillment are primary management goals; as these are met then we will be pleasing to both God and man.
We are striving to be pleasing to God and man. It is imperative that we are clear when it comes to our statement that God is our foundation. This company is based on Godly principles and the conviction that everything we do needs to honor Him and His purpose for our lives. Now we know that if we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior we are already pleasing to Him. Our striving is not an attempt to win or earn our salvation, that is a free gift that we accept as we ask for and receive forgiveness of our sins because of the price Jesus paid when he died on the cross for us. Rather, we strive to be Christ like in our business affairs as a Christian company. When we do that we are doing as we are commanded to do in Luke 6:31 “Do to others as you would have them do to you”. In this God is pleased….
Simply stated we are created for one purpose and that is to worship our creator. We do this in many ways; one of the ways is to honor Him with our business and our livelihood. As this company began, we committed everything about it to God and we continue to do that today. This is being said not to do anything but to give praise and worship to our Father in Heaven.
I realize that as soon as we make this statement we are inviting the wrath of the enemy to come against us and the critical thinking of the natural man. We are not elevating ourselves above human nature nor are we claiming perfection in everything we do even though we strive for it. Our focus is on a defect free product, but yet there may be times that something less then perfect may slip through, we may have failures like every other business. However, we are committing to do our best and we are asking for God’s divine direction in our business and through our manufacturing process. In the situation that a less then perfect product may slip through our quality measures, we will do everything within our ability to make the corrections.
