Energy Efficient Log Siding

Log Siding That Keeps You Comfortable and Saves Energy Costs

e-logs insulate, providing both a thermal barrier for maintaining a comfortable interior temperature and sound absorption so you can sleep when the wind is howling or the owls are screeching! Solid wood by itself has little or no insulation capabilities. That's why traditional log structures are so hard to heat. e-logs provide up to an additional R-10 insulation value to your wall structure, which helps reduce heating and cooling costs saving money and energy.

Environmental Friendly Log Siding

A Responsible Consideration

e-logs make wise use of our valuable and restorable natural resources. During the manufacturing of the e-log, we have an 80:1 ratio of e-logs per one 8' log.  For example, if one was to use a typical 8' long full log in the construction of a full stack log home, the e-log process would be able to make approximately 80 e-logs from that one log.  Taking that one step further, if we needed to have 320 e-logs for a new log home or a remodel project, it would only require approximately 4 full logs to make the required number of e-logs.  Timber is used wisely and non-replaceable fossil fuels are conserved. And, because our log siding help save energy, they ease the strain on your wallet. The factory finishing process emits no harmful VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) into the atmosphere. Truly our log siding is an environmentally wise decision.
