The long term maintenance of any wood finish depends entirely on how well the wood is prepared prior to applying the final finish. Each e-log surface is treated with algaecides, fungicides, and first stage UV inhibitors, and sealed with a Ultra Violet (UV) light cured, 100% solids stain/sealer. A final top coat, applied on site after the installation is complete, provides final UV protection and a beautiful low sheen finish in your desired color.

e-logs are low maintenance and built to stand up to harsh environments. elogs will not shrink, swell, warp, or develop large cracks that often plague solid logs because of their pressure laminated, urethane bonded construction.
