Cement Block Cabin Remodel

An existing small cement block cottage was a  perfect candidate for an e-log makeover.  The owner of this cottage just happens to be the Sales Manager of the e-log system working for Pine River.  He purchased this little "get away" a year before he began working at Pine River and was looking for a way to warm it up.  He and a neighbor thought that if they each remodeled using e-log it would make a significant difference in their seasonal use as well as improve the look of the neighborhood.  They were correct on both accounts.  The r-8 insulation factor offered by the 12" e-log extends the use of the cottage on both ends of the summer season.

The neighbors response to this amazing transformation has been overwhelming.   Neighbors are constantly stopping by to ask when did they build the log cabins.  It is such a drastic change in appearance from a cement building to a log cabin they are just assuming they tore down the cement structure and rebuilt.  Obviously this makes the owner ecstatic with such a favorable response.  The ability to make the cottage look brand new for the cost of a remodel resulted in a drastic savings in their budget.  In addition to longer seasonal usability this was a winning project on all accounts.
