Charlevoix Ice Skating Warming Hut "Makeover"

Pine River combined with some local businesses and contractors to volunteer to "makeover" the existing warming hut at the city owned ice skating park. The building is 12 x 16 and is built on skids and was pulled to and from the ice skating park as needed before landing at the permanent location today. Therefore, the building was very much out of square but due to the nature of the e-log and the saddle notch corner system we were able to apply shims and such as necessary behind the siding and the corners to "square it" as we sided it.

It was also decided to feature the new "saddle notch" concept that Pine River has developed. This new way to make and install saddle notch corner systems will revolutionize the log siding industry as we know it. The cultured stone is yet to be applied along with the shakes on the gables, final pictures will be added as the warming hut is completed. The neighbors love the difference, comments are overwhelming, they can't believe the difference. Many people think that the old building was torn down and a real log cabin was constructed in its place. This is exactly the comments we love to hear!

Now we know that this is a small building, if the e-log log siding system can make this much of difference on this, just "e"magine what we can do with your home!
